Dr. Mendel is an experienced expert witness regarding the impact of childhood abuse and trauma. He evaluates defendants in criminal cases in order to determine and explain how childhood factors affect defendants' personality and behavior.

At Mendel Psychological Associates, we find it an enormous privilege and a pleasure to get to know children, teenagers, young adults, and families and to help them as they work to improve their lives. We offer special areas of experience, training and expertise to you and your children. We are able to provide a tremendously wide range of services to families and to individuals ranging in age from elementary school to adulthood.

Mendel Psychological Associates has become known as “The Triangle’s Place for Groups.” We offer groups focused on helping children and teenagers with Aspergers and High Functioning Autism, and a group for adolescents and young adults with Type 1 Diabetes.
